About

I believe there’s a reason I am here. Otherwise God wouldn’t have put me on this Earth. God doesn’t do anyhting without a reason. We, the people, are just to blind to see the reason right now. I still don’t know the reason, but I believe there is.
I still am finding things I never knew about myself. But it doesnt mean that I dont know myself.
I love to surround myself with people who are not afraid to show who they are because I respect them more than people who try to be fake and try to change the way the are so that people could like them more, or people who just dont care what other people think of them. Those are the people who stand out.
Im 5’3. My friend last year called me “shorty.” I believe short people are not stupid. The size of your intelligence has nothing to do with your height.
I moved a lot. I have been to New Orleans, San Juan, Memphis, Buffalo, Milwaukee and Waukesha, Greenville, NC, and now in Morgantown. I have stayed everywhere for at least a year, except Greenville. My mom’s a doctor, and we are not a millitary family. I remember all the days we moved.
The best part about moving around is that I have friends everywhere. The worst part is that I dont get to stay in one place and get to see it change.
Cassie says that I am a passionate person, and I believe that the passionate will get somewhere in life.
Mom says I am the wisest person she knows, and mom doesn’t lie.
My closest friends say that I am the sweetest person they know. I think of others before I think of myself and try to be a sweet girl. And when my mom “attacks” my sister, i “attack” back. I dont like to see people getting hurt and I will do everything I can to protect them.
I am very obversant and love to comment on things I like that other people have.
My friends think I am a very honest person.
I am very easy to get along with.
I am the shyest person, and once you get to know me, you will know that I dont talk that much and when I do talk, it has relevence to whatever the topic is. But I have also noticed people talk about the topic that I bring up long after I mentioned it.
I am all ears. I love to just sit there and listen to people, about their happy moments or their sad moments. If you need somebody to talk to, I am always here. I never get tired of just listening.
I have all the patience in the world, literally too. I believe in the quote, “Patience is a virtue.”
I love to laugh. If you can make me laugh, then I love you. I laugh a lot. You can make me laugh easily. But this is who I am.
I collect memories, I guess u could say. I collect things that I know will remind me of something or someone special. I mean, you only remember 20% of what you learn. You only live once and you will want to remember where you were and what you did. What’s the point of living if you can’t remember anything about your life?

  1. Dear Sweetangel16175,

I like what you write about yourself. You seem to be an inspiring person, honest and open. You say you are here for a reason, and that God put you here. In a very specific way that is true. Jesus said this of himself, too. But in any other way, it doesn’t make any sense.

I wonder what God’s reason would be to put someone here to be tortured, killed, bombed etc. (maybe 100 millions alone in the 20th century), not to speak about those who hungered to death, were displaced, died of drug addiction, diseases like cancer, aids etc. I can’t see a possibility for a reasonable explanation of it at all. If God still did this, I would have to suggest he is evil. Why would He have us die anyway? Why all this struggle and suffering? That we are here to learn does not make sense. Learn what? No one here seems to know about it? Why would God have to come up with a way to perfect His own perfect creation?

There must be a different perspective. You could not say, he put you here for a good reason, while others for a bad reason. That is not possible either unless God is evil. So what is the conclusion?

Obviously, you are here for a reason. Nothing is without reason. Yet, is it God’s reason and will? The Bible may make you think it is. But it would violate God’s own laws, which is hardly reasonable to be the case. So, what else? The whole thing is a mistake at best. Something that should have never happened, and did not. Whose mistake is it? Where is a mistake but in the mind that made the decision for it? That would be mine, yours, everyone’s mind individually, singularly. You are here by mistake, but also because you want to be here in the mistaken belief that this world offers you what you want. No one brought you here. The world did not exist before you came. You brought it with you when you came. I don’t know if there is any other possibility to look at your existence here without having God be evil. I am curious.

P.S.: Obviously, there can be no other (evil) power bringing you here, otherwise there would be a power next to God which could overwrite God’s will. That is not reasonable. God has to be the only power and God.

like i said in one of my posts…
if God is good, then why is there so much conflict?
God is not good, God is not bad, God is fair and God is wise…
theres a reason why theres so much conflict on Earth, without conflict there would be nothing to live for, without conflict there would be nothing to die for. theres so much suffering, so that the people who dont suffer could be grateful for what they have and not try to want more than what they have, to struggle is to find who you really are, without struggle then life would be so boring, think about it…
well, u have to know that we are not perfect, if we were, we would have nothing to work on, we dream of a perfect life, but what is perfect for one person will not be perfect for another person, every one has his own dream of perfect.
i have a good example here, theres a movie called pay it forward, if u watched it, u might remember the african american robber who ended up in the little boys grandmas car, lets say the movie really did happen, they say its based on a true story, so if the robber never robbed he would never have ended up in the boys grandmas car and so he would never have been part of the pay it forward movement, you kinda get what i am trying to say, people do bad stuff for a reason and other people do good stuff for a reason, but it doesnt mean that when a person does bad stuff, it doesnt mean that hes a bad person…
i think its God’s reason, the whole thing cant be a mistake because God is perfect and makes no mistakes… i will get back to u on the last part because you made a good point here, and i want to think about before i answer you on that…

  3. I like it that you take your time.

    I have a few more questions…
Do you also think God suffers conflict? If not, do you think God’s life is boring?

If He is wise, and if He created us the way you imply He did, then He had to know what we would face and go through in our existence as a body identity. Do you think He would be really fair if He put us in this situation despite His knowledge of all our possible situations? Wouldn’t that be rather cruel?

How can I really be grateful for my great life, when people around me all die and suffer incredible nightmares? You mention gratitude which is a truly great attitude and action of mind. Yet maybe you would like to take a closer look at your suggestion. What do you really say? Here is a quote from my favorite book, which might provide further insights.

“Gratitude is a lesson hard to learn for those who look upon the world amiss. The most that they can do is see themselves as better off than others. And they try to be content because another seems to suffer more than they. How pitiful and deprecating are such thoughts! For who has cause for thanks while others have less cause? And who could suffer less because he sees another suffer more? Your gratitude is due to Him alone Who made all cause of sorrow disappear throughout the world.
It is insane to offer thanks because of suffering…” (Lesson 195, A Course In Miracles)

i have a question to ask you, what do u mean by God’s will or God’s reason?
well, i think God makes us make mistakes so that we could learn from them… without mistakes, we would never learn from them, we would actually learn nothing, because we learn from our mistakes…
people are born with simple minds, if someone does something good, we think hes a good person, if someone does something bad, we think hes a bad person, we dont look at his intentions. God is very wise, and i dont need to question His intentions because i trust in them, he knows what is best for me,
i thought about it, and i believe i am not here by mistake, God brought me into this world, technically my mom, and even though my world didnt exist before me, the world did exist before me, what about all those wars and those people in history? to say that the world never existed before me is to say that there were no history and we know theres a lot of history before us.
about the question does God suffer conflict, if you mean internal conflict of whether to do stuff or not, i think not because He knows what He doing, and i dont believe God has a boring life.
He puts us in situations He knows we can handle, He would never put us in a situation where its too big for us to handle, like having a baby when you are retiring, He knows we are not going to be able to handle that, thats why women are infertile after a certain age, because he know that we wont be able to handle it. even if He did, i think it means He wants us to grow up and handle it. like the death of a friend could help you mend your fears about death, or could help u help someone else become strong and get through the grieving, or it could even help u with the grieving part itself, they say death is a part of life.
its very hard these days to be grateful for what you have and not want more than what you have. but then you have to imagine life with food or life without clothes, or live with a disease, or life with one of your senses missing, or maybe even life without a loved one, and then you could be truly grateful for what you have and that you are alive to experience it.
i hope i answered all your questions and this is to the best of my knowledge.
